| It was back to 1973 when I was impressed by a scinic photo of the class
044 steam locomotive at Bullay bridge, Mosel valley, West Germany. It
was published in the album, "World of Steam, I" by a known Austlarian railfun
named Greg Triplett.
After 28 years in September 2001, I had an off-day during my business trip to Germany. My choice was definately to visit Mosel Valley. I enjoyed railfunning at Bullay and Lof. It was a sunny beautiful day with the cobaltblue sky reflected to the river. The valley was full of green vineyards whose color was in good contrast to the valley trains. I was most happy to find out that the boomshots of Bullay bridge in the angle of "World of Steam" was still possible. It is from "Marienburg" castle at the hilltop of the meander valley.
